A useful fit for

A plausible package when the four-bay DXP4800 Pro is already the intended NAS and the compatible, dedicated DC UPS is also wanted in the selected offer. The NAS remains diskless, and the UPS setup still requires checking communication and shutdown behavior.

The main tradeoff

The included US3000 does not add bays or Ethernet and is not an AC UPS for the router/switch. Runtime is load-dependent rather than guaranteed; compatible drives remain extra purchases and a RAID mirror is not an independent backup.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does this DXP4800 Pro + UPS3000 package include data drives?

No. UGREEN identifies the package as the diskless DXP4800 Pro plus a US3000/UPS3000 DC backup unit. SATA drives and M.2 SSDs are separately purchased; the 144-TB headline is maximum raw installed capacity, not included storage or a RAID volume.

Is the included UPS3000 compatible with the DXP4800 Pro, and what must be set up?

UGREEN’s UPS guide lists the DXP4800 Pro in the US3000 compatibility list. Its DC connection uses the NAS’s original adapter and USB communication; confirm UPS detection and automatic shutdown behavior on the actual UGOS build. The UPS is not a replacement for an independent data backup.

Will UPS3000 keep the NAS and network online for a fixed ten minutes?

No fixed runtime can be inferred. UGREEN describes roughly ten minutes in a stated scenario, but its own guidance says runtime varies with NAS model, installed drives and workload. The bundle’s DC unit does not power the router or switch; test with the actual setup and provide power to other network devices separately if required.

Does the UPS bundle change the NAS’s bays or Ethernet ports?

No. The bundle contains the same four-bay DXP4800 Pro with two separate M.2 positions, one 10GbE and one 2.5GbE port; the US3000 adds a power-support accessory rather than more storage or network interfaces.

This review covers the U.S. product-selector option that combines UGREEN’s NASync DXP4800 Pro with its US3000/UPS3000 DC backup unit. UGREEN assigns the selected package the combined variant SKU 85888+45615 and lists the DXP4800 Pro in the US3000 compatibility guidance. The NAS itself remains the same four-bay, diskless model assessed in the standalone DXP4800 Pro review; this page focuses on what the added power accessory changes and what it does not. It is source-based analysis, not hands-on testing.

The NAS still needs its own drives and storage plan

The bundle’s NAS has four internal SATA bays, two separate M.2 NVMe positions, a 128-GB system SSD and one 10GbE plus one 2.5GbE Ethernet port. UGREEN lists RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6 and other modes, but the package is not a populated or initialized storage system. Data drives are sold separately. The headline 144-TB maximum combines four 32-TB SATA drives and two 8-TB M.2 SSDs as raw capacity across separate storage positions; it is not included or guaranteed as one usable RAID volume.

For example, the owner could select compatible drives, create a two-drive RAID 1 mirror and leave two SATA trays open. That plan would still need to be created in the NAS software, and the exact pair should be checked against UGREEN’s current list by full part number. The mirror can help with a drive failure but is not an independent backup. Adding the UPS does not make a storage pool more redundant or protect files from accidental deletion, ransomware or loss of the complete NAS.

What the US3000 adds

UGREEN identifies the included accessory as its US3000/UPS3000 DC UPS, rated for up to 120 W output with a 43.2-Wh, 12,000-mAh lithium-ion battery and USB data communication. Its setup guide lists the DXP4800 Pro as compatible. The guide describes a NAS power connection that uses the original NAS adapter plus a USB data path; it also calls for confirming recognition and configuring the NAS’s outage or shutdown behavior. Follow instructions for the exact unit and software version, and test the intended safe-shutdown sequence rather than assuming that a power accessory is automatically configured.

UGREEN gives an approximate ten-minute example for the US3000, but the runtime varies with NAS model, drives, workload, battery condition and shutdown settings. It is not a fixed guarantee for this bundle. The small DC unit also does not automatically protect the router or switch that carries the NAS’s network traffic. If those devices need to stay on during an outage, they require their own power plan. Keep the NAS’s independent backup plan separate from its UPS plan.

When the bundle is worth comparing

This package makes sense to consider if the Pro is already the intended NAS and you want the maker-named compatible DC backup unit in the same selected configuration. It avoids treating an arbitrary third-party power brick as equivalent, but it does not eliminate the need to verify the delivered package, drive compatibility, UPS recognition, shutdown threshold or desired runtime. If you already own an appropriately sized UPS, or need battery protection for several network devices, compare that full-load setup with this NAS-focused unit instead of assuming the bundle is automatically better.

Before choosing, confirm that the selected offer is the + UPS3000 variant rather than the standalone SKU 85888, confirm that the US3000 is present in the package, and determine which devices will remain powered. The NAS is still diskless, and its 10GbE port still requires a capable client, switch or direct link, appropriate cabling and storage that can sustain the workload. UGREEN describes a two-year warranty for the NAS; check the actual package’s warranty and return terms. No live third-party stock, Amazon identity, battery-runtime test, included data drive or preconfigured RAID is claimed.
