Needs-based finder

Find NAS models that meet your documented minimums

Start with the number of internal bays and the speed of one built-in Ethernet port. You can also require a supported two-drive redundant arrangement. A match is a filter on documented facts, not a guarantee that every drive, network or workload will be compatible.

Leave a choice open if it is not essential. An unknown specification will not satisfy a hard requirement.

Storage and network

Bays are physical drive positions. Ethernet speed is a link rating; the rest of your network must support it too.

A mirror or similar arrangement can help with a drive failure; it does not replace a separate backup.

Earlier means the reviewed manufacturer source identifies a model as legacy or an earlier configuration. This choice broadens the comparison; it does not establish current seller stock, support or package contents.

Add exact measurements and limits (optional)

Choose the smallest number of internal drive positions you will accept. Capacity and usable space depend on the installed drives and storage layout; optional external shelves do not count as internal bays.

This compares a single built-in port, not combined ports or expected file-transfer speed. Router/switch, client, cable, storage and workload can limit the whole path.
