A useful fit for

A four-bay DXP4800 GT buyer who also wants UGREEN's selected 120W DC UPS included with the NAS package, and can add compatible drives, build the 10GbE path and configure storage.

The main tradeoff

This is still a diskless NAS, and the UPS is a DC accessory rather than protection for the whole network. No fixed runtime is guaranteed; the router/switch needs its own power plan and RAID is not a backup.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the DXP4800 GT + UPS package include data drives or an initialized array?

No. UGREEN's exact selector identifies the DXP4800 GT plus a 120W DC UPS; storage drives are sold separately. The 144TB headline is raw configured capacity across SATA and M.2 positions, not included space or a prebuilt pool.

Will the included DC UPS keep the complete network running for a fixed time?

No fixed runtime is established. The bundle is NAS plus a DC power accessory; it does not mean the router or switch is also powered. Actual behavior depends on the installation and load, so confirm compatible cabling and shutdown settings and test the installed combination. Keep a separate backup.

Does the UPS change the DXP4800 GT's bay or link capacity?

No. It is the same four-SATA-bay DXP4800 GT with two separate M.2 positions and two individual 10GbE RJ45 ports. The package adds a UPS but no drive, bay or network interface; each Ethernet port is still 10GbE individually.

Documentation-based package assessment; the NAS and UPS were not physically tested together.

This is a different purchase package, not a different NAS

UGREEN exposes a separate U.S. selector for “NASync DXP4800GT + UPS.” Its product JSON assigns that option the combined manufacturer SKU 16057+45615, distinct from the standalone DXP4800 GT SKU 16057. The selected package names the same diskless four-bay NAS and adds a 120W DC uninterruptible power supply. This deserves its own assessment because the included accessory changes what arrives in the manufacturer's package, but it does not change the NAS's drive bays, Ethernet ports, processor, or storage capabilities.

The underlying NAS has four SATA bays, two separate M.2 positions and two 10GbE RJ45 ports. UGREEN lists a Ryzen Embedded R2514, 8GB DDR4 memory, 64GB eMMC system storage and a 64GB memory ceiling. The product page says disks are sold separately, so neither this package nor its 144TB maximum should be mistaken for a bundle with installed drives. The stated maximum sums possible SATA and M.2 media; it is not a preconfigured or single-volume usable-capacity figure.

What the DC UPS adds—and what it does not

The package source describes the accessory as a 120W DC UPS; UGREEN's separate US3000 product information lists a 12,000mAh battery. Those are maker specifications, not a runtime measurement. Actual time depends on the NAS, installed drives, battery condition and load. The cited package page does not establish a fixed safe-shutdown window, and no particular outage scenario was tested for this review.

Do not read “UPS bundle” as whole-network protection. The selected configuration is a NAS plus a DC power unit; it does not say that a router, switch, modem, desktop or access point is also powered. If your goal is to keep a client connected through an outage, those devices need their own suitable power plan. Confirm the product's cables and the exact power path, then test the real combination and the shutdown settings on the installed UGOS version. A UPS may address a brief power interruption; it does not repair damaged files, replace RAID or create a separate backup.

The storage and network assessment remains the same

Two individual 10GbE ports can support separate network paths or link aggregation across multiple simultaneous connections when the rest of the equipment is configured for it. They do not give one workstation a 20Gbps connection; each port is still a 10GbE link. Client hardware, a switch or direct-link setup, cabling, storage and workload affect the outcome. UGREEN also lists two M.2 NVMe slots, separate from four SATA trays, and says compatible U.2 drives can replace SATA devices in front bays 1 and 2. Check exact SSD and drive models in the current compatibility selector rather than treating every physical fit as approved.

UGREEN lists RAID 1 among the supported layouts, so a buyer may later create a two-drive mirror and leave two of the four SATA bays free. The factory package is still diskless: compatible drives, setup and a separate backup strategy are the owner's responsibility. The bundle's useful distinction is only that the selected UPS is included alongside the same NAS. It neither improves the nominal Ethernet rate nor changes how much storage can be installed.

When the bundle is worth evaluating

This package suits a buyer who has already chosen the DXP4800 GT and prefers to source UGREEN's selected DC UPS with it rather than assemble that accessory purchase separately. If you already own an appropriate power unit, compare the standalone variant instead. Before ordering, verify that the offer says NASync DXP4800GT + UPS rather than only NASync DXP4800GT, and that the package identity is SKU 16057+45615. Manufacturer selector identity does not establish a third-party seller's contents or return terms.

The GT's ECC caveat also carries over: UGREEN says the shipped 8GB DDR4 module is standard non-ECC, while compatible ECC memory is a separate option. The page's USB table also conflicts by labeling rear ports USB 2.0 at 5Gb/s, and its advertised noise range has no inspected test method; neither claim is used to distinguish this package. The chassis dimensions are 10.1 by 7 by 7 inches before cable and ventilation allowance. No independent UPS runtime, drive compatibility, performance, noise or seller-stock result is claimed here.
