Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the NASync DXP4800 Plus + UPS3000 package include data drives or a ready RAID volume?
No. UGREEN's exact variant adds the US3000/UPS3000 to the diskless DXP4800 Plus; the NAS page says storage drives are sold separately. The 144-TB maximum is raw across possible SATA and M.2 drives, not included or formatted capacity. The buyer supplies and configures drives.
Explore this need in the finder →Which power unit is selected and what can its rating tell me?
This selected SKU combines the DXP4800 Plus with UGREEN US3000/UPS3000, rated up to 120 W and 12,000mAh/43.2Wh with USB data communication. UGREEN lists DXP4800 Plus as compatible. Its approximate runtime scenario is not a guaranteed duration for your drive and workload combination.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the included DC UPS also keep my router and switch running?
Not by itself. UGREEN describes the US3000 as a dedicated DC power path for a compatible NAS. Network devices need their own suitable protected supply if they must stay on; the UPS does not replace an independent backup of the NAS data.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the package meet a four-bay, 10GbE and possible two-drive mirror plan?
Yes as a buyer-created scenario: the NAS has four SATA bays, one individual 10GbE port and RAID 1 in its listed modes. Two compatible SATA drives could occupy two trays; neither those drives nor a configured mirror are included. The US3000 adds power support, not another bay or port.
Explore this need in the finder →The UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus + UPS3000 is a package choice, not a different NAS chassis. Its storage, expansion and Ethernet capabilities are those of the four-bay DXP4800 Plus; the separately selected US3000 DC battery unit adds a dedicated power-continuity path for that NAS. If you already own a compatible backup supply, the standalone DXP4800 Plus may be the cleaner purchase. If your main need is to keep network equipment powered too, this compact DC accessory is not a whole-room UPS.
What the selected package actually adds
UGREEN's U.S. selector gives the DXP4800 Plus + UPS3000 its own variant, ID 45573994545346 and combined manufacturer SKU 35260US+45615. The SKU distinguishes it from the standalone DXP4800 Plus (35260US). Component 45615 is the UGREEN US3000/UPS3000. UGREEN's compatibility guide names the DXP4800 Plus for the US3000, whose own specification lists up to 120 watts, a 12,000mAh lithium-ion battery rated at 43.2Wh, zero-second transfer and USB data communication. Those numbers describe the accessory's rating, not a tested runtime for this NAS.
The setup guide describes the DC unit in the NAS power path and explains its USB communication. Follow the instructions for the exact NAS and UPS, retain the NAS's original power adapter, confirm that UGOS recognizes the unit, and test the shutdown behavior under your own load. UGREEN gives an approximate runtime scenario, while also saying duration changes with NAS model, installed drives, workload, battery condition and protection settings. I cannot turn that into a guaranteed number of minutes for a particular drive layout. The box contents also do not establish that a router, switch or access point will remain powered; those need their own compatible battery-backed supply.
The storage plan is still yours
The DXP4800 Plus contributes four native SATA bays and two separate M.2 NVMe positions. It has one 10GbE RJ45 port and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port, an Intel Pentium Gold 8505, 8GB DDR5 memory and HDMI output. The product's 144TB headline is a maximum raw configuration across four 32TB SATA drives and two 8TB M.2 SSDs; the bundle does not include those data drives. Nor does a high raw number describe one ready-to-use or mirrored pool. Check every drive and SSD model against UGREEN's current compatibility information, decide whether M.2 will be cache or separate storage, then create the array yourself.
A possible two-drive RAID 1 plan uses two SATA positions and leaves two of the four trays free. UGREEN lists RAID 1 among the NAS's modes, but no array is preinstalled. A mirror can help keep a volume available after a member drive fails; it does not protect against accidental deletion, malware, theft, controller failure or a lost UPS. Keep an independent backup, ideally one not continuously connected to the NAS. If you instead want a four-drive RAID 5 arrangement, that is a separate owner-created plan and uses all four trays. The UPS choice does not change either storage layout.
Network speed depends on the rest of the path
The fastest individual port is 10GbE, with a separate 2.5GbE port. The port ratings are not additive, and a 10GbE label does not make a complete 10GbE route: the client, adapter, switch, cabling, storage activity and workload all matter. The US3000 does not add a network interface or improve file throughput. Its role is narrower: with a documented compatible NAS and correct cabling, it can bridge an interruption to the NAS's own DC supply while the system identifies the UPS over USB and applies the configured shutdown policy.
Who should compare it with the standalone model?
This package is most coherent when you have settled on the DXP4800 Plus for its four SATA bays, M.2 options or 10GbE port and also want a compatible NAS-only DC UPS in the same manufacturer selection. Someone who owns a suitable UPS, needs longer runtime at a specified load, or wants to power a router and switch should compare a standalone NAS with an appropriately sized AC UPS instead. A small DC unit may simplify the NAS power path, but it cannot answer the broader question of which devices must stay online through an outage.
Before ordering, verify the complete DXP4800 Plus + UPS3000 selection rather than a plain DXP4800 Plus or a seller-created bundle. Confirm that the US3000 is the included accessory, not separately suggested in a cart. Separately budget for compatible drives; check the exact drive list, planned capacity and RAID mode; and confirm the actual switch and client can use the chosen Ethernet port. After setup, check UPS recognition and perform a controlled outage/shutdown test using UGREEN's steps. No hands-on outage test, run-time measurement, product ownership or seller-stock check is claimed here. The reviewed evidence establishes the manufacturer's exact package and component specifications, not an independent performance trial or a particular retailer's box contents.
